Are you looking to smell like a vegetable, lol, how about a cucumber? If so, check out this free sample of Wen Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner. I was kidding, it doesn’t COMPLETELY smell like cucumbers it’s actually very faint. Anyways, this sample comes in a single use packet 60ml (2oz) of conditioner to try out. You might actually get more than one use if you have short or thin hair, I was able to get 2… yay!
I’m not looking to change my conditioning product just yet but I decided to give this free sample a try. I was a little hesitant because I have thin hair and my scalp is a little oily right now. I know Wen recommends that you cowash but with my hair type, I really don’t think it’s something I should be following. Anyways, I did followed the instructions on the back of the packet and rinsed the conditioner out of my hair. After rinsing it out, it still felt like there was still some left so I did it again. It didn’t matter how many times I actually tried to rinse out the conditioner it felt like there was still some left. I then decided to give up on washing it out and just went about my day. By the middle of the afternoon, my hair was dull and dirty looking. It even looked like there was a rats nest in my hair. It did not look good. I thought maybe I just didn’t apply it properly the first time so I used it again the next day… same thing happened.
What I did learn from using my free sample of Wen Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner was that it is just not for me. Perhaps it’s my hair type, I had a sample that had gone bad, or it’s just a bad product. I do know that I won’t be using it again. But if you look online, you’ll see that there are plenty of positive reviews so take that into consideration.

Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner Free Sample
Summary
This cleansing conditioner by wen has a strong menthol scent with a little bit of cucumber. I had trouble washing the conditioner out of my hair and ended up having dirtly looking hair with a bunch of tangles. Tried it again with the same results. I probably wouldn't use again, especially with my hair type.

my hair became very oily within about 5 minutes of drying. and then it seemed to just get oilier every time i used it. i really enjoyed the smell & i liked how my hair felt while it was still wet, but it felt like i had put oil on my hair every time i touched it. i am definately not impressed
I loved it! This version smells and feels better than the original almond/mint one, It will leave your hair super silky and easy to style. But for some reason, I still have to use a clarifying shampoo once a week to get rid of the white stuff that it leaves in my scalp.
I think you either you love it or you hate it, and I Love it! My hair is definitely softer, more manageable. It was course, dry and unruly before. I have natural curl to my hair, and instead of being frizzy, the curls are defined and I’m not even using styling product. I wash every other day. I love this stuff. It’s def worth a try. Thanks.
Thank you! 🙂
Thanx
🙂 🙂 thanks 🙂 🙂
i didn’t feel as if my hair was cleansed or conditioned. i almost think just using water alone would have yielded better results than what I got from using this product.
I liked it. It smells clean and fresh. Love the way my hair looks and feels after.
