YLS Vernis A Levres Pop Water and Plump Up Free Sample

Need a change from using lipstick? If so, you might want to check out this free sample of YLS Vernis A Levres Pop Water and Plump Up! You will get three (3) different glossy stains and one (1) applicator. Each stain is presented in a square shaped blister pack with .25ml in each. The colors include:

• N 202 Rouge Splash
• N 204 Onde Rose

I’ve always like Yves Saint Laurent products and have used them on and off over the last 15 years. I was excited to try out this new lip stains and plumper. My first impression was that it was a really nice and well presented sample pack. I would have like to see two different red’s as these ones I find are too similar. But I assume that the lighter the color the harder it would be to have enough pigment to have real staying power.

Now with the first color I tried, it was the 202 Rouge Splash. I thought it would have been too dark for my lips as my skin tone is fair but I was pleasantly surprised that the color looked really good and was a good match. I didn’t care for the free applicator that they give you to use, I think the retail version would be much better. Once I put on the gloss, it went on smoothly and looked sheer and watery. It dried nicely but felt like a hard jelly. It wasn’t sticky or tacky but it did feel a little thick on my lips. I lasted for most of the day with only a little touch up in the middle of the day. My lips didn’t feel dry so the hydrating effect seems to really work. In the next few days I’ll try the Onde Rose and Plump Up and I’ll let you know how those worked out for me too.

So far, the free sample pack of YLS Vernis A Levres Pop Water and Plump Up I’d say was pretty awesome. I don’t know if this is a true lip stain, but it’s pretty close and a good alternative to wearing lipstick. I’d recommend anyone to give it a try and see how you like it.
