Partying too much last night? Get rid of those bags under your eyes with this deluxe free sample of Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer. This generous deluxe sample comes in the color “Sand” which is pretty much the middle line for their assorted available tones. It doesn’t say what the quantity is, but it’s suppose to last about a week, which I think is a pretty good amount of time to get an idea of how effective the product is.
As some of you already know, I’m getting older and the tired look under my eyes is starting to get more noticeable. I’m always on the lookout for the “miracle” under eye cream that will make all my troubles go away, lol. I was excited to get my sample of Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer but I’m afraid it wasn’t what I expected.
First of all, the concealer had a nice texture as it was creamy and it felt non-drying at first. But once I applied it, I felt like it made me look older which is totally the opposite of what I was trying to achieve. Overall, it just didn’t seem to wear very well on me. It seemed to settle into the lines under my eyes really quickly and it just made them look more visible and like I was trying to hide them. The consistency was a little more thick and cakey from what I’m used to with other concealers.
Overall, my experience with this deluxe free sample of Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer was a big disappointment. I guess I expected more from the Bobbi Brown line. Maybe that was my problem, having high expectations which often sets me up for disappointment 🙁 . Oh well, I’ll just keep looking for that magical miracle concealer.

Summary
I'm getting older and under my eyes it's starting to get a little more dry and darker, but this concealer sample makes my under eyes look like a desert. Don't get me wrong, it has a great pigment and formula. Unfortunately, the skin around my eyes doesn't seem to be compatible. Over time, it starts to look really caked on and almost like fish scales.
This concealer sample is amazing. It has a great texture and coverage. I love the way it looks layered over hydrating eye cream.

At first, this concealer felt wonderful. Out of the bottle, it’s super thin and light, seems very highly pigmented, and goes on very smoothly. And then almost immediately, however, it begins to dry…and it settles into every. single. line under your eyes. I’m so glad I tried this sample first.

I normally just use the original corrector and concealer but wanted to try this formula too. It’s… Amazing. I still layer over my corrector for extra coverage but I love the soft feel and texture!
Just finished using the sample I got of this in Sand and I am very impressed. This is the only concealer that doesn’t cause my skin to crease, shine, leave a white cast, or dry out my under eye area. Hands down beats my previous concealer, cle de peau.
