I loved the smell of Miss Jessie’s Jelly Soft Curls and the hold is really impressive. I applied this to wet hair and I thought it wouldn’t end well because it was difficult to get an even application, when going on it seemed to coat the hair and make It feel tacky. I diffused and it turned out so soft and well defined! I loved the results. I would repurchase regularly if it was cheaper.

I really like this soft curl gel a lot. It made my hair soft shiny and bouncy for days. It’s the first gel that actually didn’t make my scalp itch or flake and not leave white residue on my hair. I believe a little goes a long way.
I’ll definitely use it again after trying the sample. Maybe I’ll try to get it when Miss. Jessie’s has a sale? They usually have some special for Black Friday through some time in December. I’ve tired a lot of other gels with a much lower price, but they always make my scalp flake and itch. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price. However, I will still purchase it. As I said a little goes a long way and I’ve used it on my children and they have extremely long hair. Btw, use some type of moisturizer prior to adding any type of gel.

Miss Jessie’s is a good product but for a much cheaper price you can use “ECO Styler Blue level 5”, and it does the exact same thing! I looked at the ingredients on both products and its EXACTLY the same, except for the blue coloring in the ECO Blue gel. ECO styler BLUE level 5, will give you the same exact results for a much much cheaper price!

Summary
Even though this product is designed specifically for African American hair, I thought I'd give it a try anyways. I have Caucasian, wavy hair but surprisingly, it really made my natural waves less frizzy than when it dries naturally with no product. There was none of that hard crunchy feel to my hair after like when I use most gels. I probably wouldn't have tried a product like this if it wasn't for this sample. Now I know it's an option for the future.
