Boy, do we have a strange one for you. It’s a sample of Soylent Meal Replacement, the strange food of the future. This sample comes with 3 days worth of meals along with an oil blend. A normal one week supply, costs about $80 and that includes 7 bags for about 21 meals.
Soylent meal replacement isn’t a new idea, in fact meal replacement shakes have been around for years. The thing that is interesting about this is that there was a popular movie in the 1970’s called Soylent Green where a bursting population found it difficult to be fed and used a “special” food source to solve this problem.
Soylent does sound like a promising idea and could actually work for a total meal replacement especially for those busy folks. Each serving consists of 148g. Each serving you’ll get 510 calories (670 with the oil). You’ll also get a good blend of carbs, protein, and fat along with vitamins and minerals.
If you were wondering what the oil blend is, it’s a simple combination of fish oil and canola oil. And easy way to include essential oils to your diet. And an option to turn a vegan meal into a non-vegan product.
And finally, the taste of Soylent. We haven’t had the chance to try it out yet but the reviews have been mixed. Overall though, it’s been fairly positive. Some people have complained of a funny after taste and odd texture. But really, if you wanted to taste good food then you’d probably have a real meal. Right? You’ll rarely find quick, healthy, and easy food together with great tasting food.
This sample of Soylent meal replacement is a great way to try out this product because it can be a real heart breaker when dishing out so much money for something when later you find you really don’t like it.

Can’t get over the texture! It looks so strange. Like a thick curdled milk.
Can you actually live off of this stuff? I mean isn’t it required for the body to consume fiber for bulking purposes? I’m curious to try it.
The bland taste might be something the creator is trying to accomplish but I’m not sure people are willing to jump on this wagon as taste is everything to most. Perhaps the inventor can add / sell a separate packet for altering the taste then perhaps it would be more appealing.
Does the sample come with the oil blend? Heard it doesn’t mix well without it.
I am really curious to try it and see what it taste like
