With any small sample size, it’s always tough to get a good idea of how well the product works, but what you can do is see how your body reacts. I have very sensitive skin. When I tried my sample, I had no bad reaction (if someone were going to, it would be me). I really like the lightness and the overall evening of the skin tone. In a high desert climate, a moisturizer is a necessity, and I love the tint in this one. I look as if I’ve taken some care, and at the same time, I’m protecting my skin.

At first, I was a little unsure about shade 2, even though it doesn’t go on as orange as it appears, it was a little dark, but shade 1 looks so light, even on a pale complexion. I’m using shade 2 which is good because it’s getting closer to summer and I tend to get brown spots due to Melasma, so I thought it would all blend in well, which it did. You really don’t need to use much, as the whole point of a tinted moisturizer is to be light and natural looking. I have pretty good skin and find the coverage very good. Not so little that I have the urge to apply more, but not so much that I feel overdone. shade 2 felt a little dark on me again as I had lost all my summer coloring. I might ordered shade 1 next time as I’m going to make my own color. Just a little is all you need. I’m thinking that 3/4 of shade 2 and 1/4 of shade 1 would be perfect.
