Each square has a small amount of makeup for only a few applications but it’s a great way to try out a few different ones.
We really think you will like this palette. First, you’ll find that the shadows are pigmented and easy to blend. You’ll probably find that you use the matte shades more often than the shimmery glittery shades. Most people find the matte shadows to be beautiful and work nicely over a primer like most eye shadows. You’ll also love the shimmer shadows and might use them on occasion to add some drama to the eyes. If you’re worried about the glitter in some of the shadows, don’t. They are just as pigmented and easy to blend as the matte. The packaging on this sample is very really cute as you’ll notice and makes using the shades fairly easy.
When you apply the eyeshadow, you’ll notice it’s super sleek and although it can get dirty easily you can clean it off just as easy. Using a proper application brush will also make the application easy to apply. I reach for this palette often. The neutral shades make for many looks that are very wearable and appropriate for work or play.
I wanted a combination of high quality shadow and colors I could pull off during the day. This was the perfect answer! I started playing with it today and wow, it looks like a professional makeup artist did my makeup, yet I don’t feel like I’m in drag or ready for a night out like I feel in other brands.
If you’re having a hard time finding the right shade and before giving up on this palette, I suggest you search the net for a few video tutorials like I did. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for. And since I’m not a professional, I can make a little error with blending and not have to start over. It’s very novice friendly. Usually I can’t even play with black without looking like a panda, but since this takes a few swipes to show up, I was able to get it exactly how I want it.
