I just wanted to share with you my newest free sample I got, it’s Bareminerals Lash Domination Mascara. This is the deluxe sample that you get and comes in 0.05 oz. When I first got it, it really looked like a perfume inside a carded cover, because when you open it up it has the mascara in a tube that looks just like a trial size. I was confused until I opened it, lol. I’m so easy to confuse.
Anyways, my sample surprised me I already had low expectations because I thought I already had the best mascara that I’ve been using for years, and I mean years. I haven’t tried anything else for the longest time I guess because some habits are hard to break. But the first thing I noticed was the amazing brush design it’s fairly large and coats every lash and useful for getting in between my lashes. The brush I normally use for my everyday mascara is much smaller and takes more time, I’m still not sure if that’s a good thing or not.
Once I put the Lash Domination mascara on with the brush, that’s when everything went downhill with this sample. After a few hours of use, I looked in the mirror and noticed that it had smeared everywhere making me look terrible. I thought maybe I had put too much on or didn’t use a good primer and tried it a few more times and the same thing happened to me. It was smearing all over the place. My skin is fairly normal and not oily so I don’t know what it is.
Overall, my review of my free sample of Bareminerals Lash Domination Mascara is a big disappointment. I was really hoping for more. I guess I’ll just stick with my same old mascara. If it’s not broken don’t fix it.
A decent mascara for those of us who don’t have long lashes but for some reason tends to smear near the brow bone. Too bad 🙁
Gave my eye lashes curls without using any tools, yay! But it does smudge. Works great as a touch up mascara for on the go.
