Don’t you just love the names that Benefit comes up with? They’re always so clever, lol. I’ve used Urban Decays primer on and off and have had pretty good results with it so I didn’t really expect much from Benefit’s version. I found it to be fairly comparable but it’s nice that it also acts as a primer for concealer too. Surprisingly, I found Stay Don’t Stray to match my skin tone very closely and use it right up to my brow line without making it look all weird.
As for how well it held up with my makeup… it stood up to over twelve hours! And even after that time, I couldn’t see any crease issues so there’s good moisture in the product but not enough to make you look greasy. And the best part of all is that there were no smudges! At all! I’ve found with Urban Decay and other primers that after about 8 hours I would start to notice smudges which would drive me nuts and require a touch up.
I would have to say that I really enjoyed my deluxe free sample of Benefit Stay Don’t Stray and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a concealer that does it all. Benefit Stay Don't Stray is great and does what it's suppose to do. It covers dark areas and discoloration almost completely. But you need to be careful when you apply it because it dries so quickly. Just make sure to blend it well. When you put eye shadow on top of it, be sparing because the shadow will stick.
