If you liked the original Flora, you might want to check out this free sample of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia EDT. This sample unfortunately does not come with a spray vial, just the old fashioned splash which of course makes it more challenging to apply it properly and the fact that it’s a EDT where you’ll need more to really smell it. Comes in a carded cover with a 2ml vial.
I don’t know about you, but I really liked the original Flora. Gorgeous Gardenia feels like the little sister who wants to get the same attention as the big sister but just can’t because it’s not the same, and that’s how I feel about this. It’s nice but I’m not a big fan of strong floral scents and this one is just too strong for me. I do like the fact that it’s a bit musky which makes it feel more mature. I’m finding that it smells very similar to Viva La Juicy except for that musk scent.
Another thing I noticed about Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia EDT was that it just doesn’t seem to last very long on me. After about an hour or 2 it seems to really die off. Which is a shame. If it was a scent that I enjoyed I might actually consider using an unscented lotion and dab it into the lotion and then rub it into my skin. Just a tip for those of you who find a fragrance you like but it doesn’t last long.
I did get a few compliments from a couple strangers at the grocery store while I was waiting in line, so that was nice but overall, I didn’t really care for my free sample of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia EDT. It just goes to show you that tastes in fragrance really are so personal and unique from person to person.

Definitely not as good as the original Gucci Flora. The Gardenia fragrance is nice when sprayed on, but then it does seem to change once it reacted to my body chemistry and turned into something entirely different. If you enjoy the scent of gardenia in your fragrance, go for it! If not, you may want to avoid this one!
I’m absolutely in love with this scent. The fruitiness and glamorous scent makes me feel flirty and amazing. I wear a lot of fruit scented perfume, I have a collection from Victoria Secret but this is by far my favoritest ever.
I am hooked on Gardenia! And I agree that at first it goes on strong then fades quickly. Normally, I prefer lighter fragrances so this is ok with me.

I loved the sample and had gotten so many compliments! The scent does need to be refreshed during the day but it’s easy with this mini vial,
I LOVE this fragrance! I’m more of a Paco Rabanne fan, but I got this sample a week ago and I LOVE IT!! It smells so good, not overpowering, and lasts! I’ve been using it every second day and my bottle is still almost full!! Amazing!
