If you’re wanting to pamper your eyes with some interesting products check out this sample set of Benefit If Easy Was A Crime. This set includes 3 products to try and help make your eyes look better than ever… or not:
- Benefit They’re Real Mascara- 3g (0.1oz)
- Benefit They’re Real Remover- 7.5ml (0.25oz)
- Benefit They’re Real Push Up Liner- 0.1g (0.003oz)
Out of this set, the only one that I’ve tried before was the Push Up Liner and my experience wasn’t all that great, so I chose not to bother using that product. But the other two, the mascara and remover I’m pretty sure I’ve never tried before (as far as I can remember, lol).
I tried the Benefit They’re Real Mascara and it went on quite nice and didn’t clump or anything. I didn’t feel like it lengthened my lashes at all, just made them a little thicker. After about half an hour to an hour, I noticed that it started to get really hard and start to flake a little. It actually started to flake off into my eyes and was bothering me to the point that I needed to remove it and that’s when I decided to use my sample of They’re Real Remover.
The remover was surprisingly effective with removing what I had left of the mascara. I have sensitive skin so it didn’t irritate me at all. I didn’t feel like I had to rub very hard to remove everything. It also has a cream base so it feels like it’s helping to moisturize my eyelids and around my eyes. I’m curious to see how effective it is to remove stronger makeup or waterproof makeup… hmmmmm.
At least 1 out of the 3 products was good, it’s better than nothing… right?
Overall, my sample set of Benefit If Easy Was A Crime was kind of a bust, though I thought the remover did a good job of getting the horrible mascara off…
